Privacy Policy
- Your videos, camera streams, counts and reports are processed on your own computer. They are not sent to us.
- To manage your licence, the software sends us your licence key, a machine identifier, the software version, and the name and email you enter.
- If you turn on Google Sheets Live Sync, your counts go from your computer straight to a spreadsheet in your own Google account. We never receive them.
Who we are
TrafficAI is published by Sathish Kumar Godasi, Hyderabad, India (“we”, “us”). Contact: satish.plg@gmail.com, +91 9490381784.
Video and analysis results
TrafficAI runs on your Windows computer. Video files and camera streams you open are analysed on that computer, and the results (counts, images of counted vehicles, reports, databases) are saved in folders you choose on that computer. The software does not upload your video, images, counts or reports to us.
You are responsible for having the right to record and process the video you use, including any notice or consent required under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or other law that applies to you.
Licence activation
When you activate, check or deactivate a licence, the software contacts our licence server and sends:
- your licence key;
- a hardware identifier derived from your Windows installation (so a licence stays on the computers it was issued for);
- the TrafficAI version;
- the customer name and email address you enter when activating, if any.
We use this only to issue, verify and manage your licence and to contact you about it. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. We keep it for as long as the licence exists and for any period the law requires afterwards; you can ask us to delete it once you no longer use the licence.
Google Sheets Live Sync (optional)
TrafficAI can write your traffic counts to a Google spreadsheet while an analysis runs. This is off until you connect a Google account in Settings → Google Sheets Live Sync.
- What TrafficAI asks Google for: permission to create and edit only the spreadsheets that TrafficAI itself creates (the
drive.filescope), and your email address so the software can show which account is connected. It cannot see, read or change any other file in your Google Drive. - What it writes: count tables (totals, interval counts, daily peaks, site name, video or camera name, timestamps, and camera online/offline state). If you enter email addresses to share a spreadsheet, TrafficAI asks Google to give those people view-only access, and Google emails them the link.
- Where it goes: directly from your computer to Google. The spreadsheet is stored in your own Google Drive and is controlled by your Google account. We do not receive your Google data, your counts or your sign-in, and we have no access to your spreadsheets.
- Your sign-in: the Google access token is stored on your computer only, encrypted with Windows for your user account.
- Turning it off: click Disconnect in the same window, which revokes TrafficAI’s access and deletes the stored sign-in. You can also remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Spreadsheets already created stay in your Drive until you delete them.
TrafficAI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information received from Google is used only to provide the live sync feature you turned on. It is not transferred to anyone else, not used for advertising, and not read by people.
Other connections the software makes
- AI model files: if a model file is missing, the software can download it from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). This is an ordinary file download; no data about your video is sent.
- Cameras: live analysis connects only to the camera addresses you enter. Camera passwords are not written into report or file names.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, and it is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) to run and protect the service.
Your rights
You can ask us what licence information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to satish.plg@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the software’s release notes.
